Nettleton finding her best form

Nettleton, the highlight of the weekend, also giving us a 1-2 in the 9th race among numerous other places during the week, a sort of another solid week for us. Owned by the renowned team of Messrs J F & L M F Wernars & Mrs T J Wernars, and also bred by Mr. L M F Wernars.

With an 1160-meter challenge, Nettleton and her jockey, Diego De Gouveia, were ready to prove that champions rise to the occasion, no matter the circumstances. The field was fierce, and it was the penultimate race of the day, but Nettleton was headstrong in her determination showing us the promise she showed us as a young horse, when winning on debut.

A noteworthy mention goes to Chyavana, who clinched a robust second place in Race 8 – BETWAY SUMMER CUP 25 NOVEMBER PINNACLE STAKES (1160m) after a well-deserved break. Despite running under sufferance over the weekend and being unable to get a penalty under the race conditions, Chyavana is certainly gearing up for the Grand Heritage race on 9th December. He ran at a disadvantage at the weights, but still managed to produce a superb performance, proof of his promising potential for the upcoming Grand Heritage, where he placed fifth last year.

Meanwhile, in the Cape Racing, another one of our horses, Ignatious, ran an impressive 3rd place in race 5 the RaceCape Powered By Hollywoodbets CAPE B STAKES. We are thrilled to have a placed runner in the Cape, and we looking forward to their season.

Nettleton’s exciting return is not just about her victory; it is a story of dedication to teamwork, as she’s been difficult to load into the starting stalls.

As we look forward to the upcoming races on the calendar, the past weeks performances have added an extra layer of excitement and confidence to the team. Our horses seem to be holding form as we gear up for the Betway Summer Cup.
