TIME for LOVE

What a thrilling month it’s been for our incredible team! On Thursday Turffontein meeting, we’ve witnessed not just one but two exceptional wins that beautifully fit the theme of love!

First in the winners enclosure was the appropriately named Thing Called Love. Only in her 4th career start, this young filly decided it was the perfect moment to show her appreciation for her owners, Messrs J F & L M F Wernars & Mrs T J Wernars. Competing easily under the guidance of the brilliant Gavin Lerena, Thing Called Love swooped her very first career win. It was indeed a notable victory proving once again that love is indeed in the air this February!

In the sixth race, Time For Orchids, the highly anticipated favourite of the day, crossed the finish line in full bloom, showcasing its impressive performance. Since moving to our yard, Time Fo Orchids, another gem under Gavin Lerena’s capable hands, has been an unstoppable force. Three straight wins in a row have made her the talk of the Highveld. A big shoutout to the winning owner Mr R M Sewgoolam and Nadeson Park Stud, the genius behind this extraordinary breed.

February has been kind to us. It’s a month synonymous with love, and what better way to commemorate it than with victories that speak volumes for our passionate lovely owners.
