Our FINAL TRY at Vaal’s 23/24 Season

An exciting moment for the team as we celebrated the victory of FINAL TRY, who secured his first career win at Vaal Racecourse. Guided by Gavin Lerena, this win not only serves as a testament to his improvement on his second run as a gelding but also stands as a fitting highlight for our last win at Vaal for the 23/24 season, bringing our total to 19 winners this season, with 17 on the classic track.

Congratulations to the Wernars family for their unwavering support and to Lammerskraal Stud for their valuable role in breeding this promising horse. Till we meet next season at Vaal, thanks to Final Try!

Looking ahead to the weekend, we have 11 runners set to compete at Turffontein Standside this Saturday, July 27th, capping off another competitive Highveld season. Then, we’ll shift our focus to a grand finale filled with excitement at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday, July 28th, Gold Cup Day! Our five runners will look to shine as they take on this prestigious event, especially with the added thrill of the World Pool.
