She SIMPLY blew them away

As we wrapped up 2023 in our last meet, we’re excited about our young horse, Simply Majestic, who really showed what she’s made of on the track. With Gavin Lerena in the irons, she took off from the starting gates at the 800m and never looked back. She was bred by the Ridgemont Stud out of Canford Cliffs x Queen Laurie.

Simply Majestic’s win is special as she is our first 2-year-old horse to win during the 2023/2024 season. What made it extra special, though, was seeing our proud owners the Stonebridge family walk away with the magnificent R100 000 Bloodstock South Africa Bonus from the 2 yo series. This win is also a dedication to the great work done by our team behind the scenes at the stables.

As 2023 ends and 2024 begins, we’re really looking forward to seeing what this new year will bring. We’re so thankful for all the support we’ve received this year and hope things only get better going forward. We can’t help but hope that 2024 is as impressive as Simply Majestic has been!
