Stellar Weekend: Team Celebrates a Grade 3 Double

Exciting weekend with fantastic performances all around. Simply Majestic with her stunning victory in the TAB Pretty Polly Stakes (Grade 3). Under Gavin Lerena’s superb guidance, she lived up to her name, impressing us all with her performance. A huge congratulations to the winning owners, Mr. & Mrs. C R Stonebridge, who travelled from Tanzania to witness their majestic win, and to the winning breeder Ridgemont Highlands.

Adding to the weekend’s thrill, our team celebrated another Grade 3 win in Hollywoodbets Scottsville with Cymric clinching the TabGold Godolphin Barb Stakes Gr3. Yet again, Gavin Lerena showcased his outstanding riding skills, bringing home the trophy. Kudos to the proud team owners, Messrs J F & L M F Wernars and R M Sewgoolam, as well as Justin Vermaak for picking the horse at the NYS23 and to breeders Wilgerbosdrift & Mauritzfontein, for their significant contributions.

This weekend was particularly special for the Wernars family, marking four graded race wins, with two of those bred by Mr Wernars himself. It’s a privilege for our team to contribute to such accomplishments, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations not only to the winners but to everyone involved in making this a memorable weekend.
